Over the last few months, we have been testing a new workout tracker called Train Heroic. 25 of our members have been using it already and the consensus has been positive.
You should have all received an e-mail about setting up a Train Heroic account. It's pretty straight-forward. Download the Train Heroic app and start tracking your fitness gains (if you need advice about how to use the app, or you did NOT receive an e-mail in the last week, ask Tom for help. He knows all).
At the end of the day, the thing we'd like you to keep track of are the MadLab benchmark workouts (workouts we repeat a few times a year), as well as your lifts. Specifically, your:
1 RM deadlift
3RM bench press
3RM back squat
1RM clean and jerk
3RM shoulder press
Knowing your numbers will help you get the most out of each training session as it will allow you to scale workouts and lift appropriately based on your own strength percentages, and having a place for you to keep track of everything will go a long way in ensuring you remember all the important metrics to your development.
