Mike Fransblow arrived at our doors in 2011. De-conditioned, he turned green after each workout for the first two months. Post-workout vomiting was also not unknown to Mike. At the time, nobody was sure whether or not he’d last.
Four years later, he has done more than that. Today, he’s able to do more with his body in his forties than he could 10 years ago.
“I can safely say that I’m addicted to fitness now and never would have imagined that would be the path I’d follow when I walked in on that first day so long ago,” he said.
Fitness is such a priority in Mike’s life that he consistently wakes up when the moon is still lighting up the sky to hit the 6 a.m. class, day-after-day. But knowing what he’s waking up for makes getting up easy.
“For me, it’s about having such a great group of folks to hang out with while we grind it out,” Mike said. “It’s about amazing coaches who really care about hitting the movements right, progressing, getting stronger and fitter all the time.”
And more than anything, for Mike it’s about how his fitness helps the rest of his life.
“It’s about feeding that competitive spirit I was missing for so many years. It’s about feeling great all the time, and how much value all the other areas of my life benefit from this routine,” he said.
