What Does Hero Cost?
|
On January 15, 2013 Charles Matiru had succumbed to his injuries from PTSD. I spoke with another soldier who served with both Charles & Andy, Shawn Davidson. In his words, “His skills as a soldier and a leader were not only great, but a reflection of his humble attitude and calm demeanor.”So what are we asking you?Come in on Saturday, THIS SATURDAY, March 2nd. Bring a little cash and throw it in the jar. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Matiru’s childs trust fund. Get your WOD on, and think about what it really costs our heros who serve on our behalf. Lesson Plan for Friday, March 1st: Warm-Up: 3 rounds Tech: We don’t do good mornings often so focus on your posture and technique if they’re new to you rather than loading the bar super heavy. WoD: 15 minute AMRAP 6 Pull-Ups

This is the real deal…this guy served with Nutts. He served for all of us.
His kid isn’t considered a ‘dependant’ by the military as it isn’t born yet…..
THIS is a noble cause.
Close to CFV.
Come do a WOD on Saturday. Feel the love. Share the honour.
